We had our follow up appointment with the Perinatal Specialist this afternoon. Good news! The blood clot has decreased in size by 1/2. The doctor said that this is good. He said "we are not out of the woods yet but we are better". What a relief! The cysts has twisted and is showing signs of bleeding. He said that this may cause some discomfort. He also said not to ignor any pain from that area. If I start to have intense pain on my right side then I need to give him a call. He hopes that the cysts will go away on its on but it is possible that I will have to have surgery to remove it around 14 weeks.
We do not have a picture to share today because the printer was being worked on. The nurse said that they save our pictures and will give them to us at our next appointment. So next week we should have two pictures to post. The baby looked good. The heartbeat was 171 which the doctor said is good. The baby measured at 9weeks and 1 day.
Overall we feel that it was a positive day! Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Our next appointment is tomorrow with the OB. I'm not sure what to expect from that appointment but at least it will be nice to meet the Doctor who will deliver the baby!
